Monday night couldn't have gone any worse. First, my pick for the next Welsh Champion, Ashton Richards, went out in the opening match, meaning he could not compete in the main event for the Welsh Title. Secondly, ALL THREE of my new clients lost. My top tag team G-Force and Celtic Kid lost to those morons Mason Tombs and Ryan Lloyd, after blatant cheating from Mason Tombs, using blue mist to blind G-Force. Finally, my third client, Byson, was beaten by LTN when referee, former CCW star Ajax, purposely counted three fast. Although, LTN turned out to be Tommy Hayden incognito, so I guess it wasn't all that bad. But then, the final insult, Ace Jordan won the Gauntlet Match to become CCW's first ever Welsh Champion. But hey, I guess it could have been worse, it could have been Keith the Destroyer leaving with the belt.

What the hell is this crap!? On the 17th, the match card for CCW's biggest show of the year The Big One Chapter 3 was announced, and I was ecstatic to see Tommy Hayden's name on the card, as he was set to take on a currently undecided opponent. However, the same day, it was announced that Tommy Hayden had been TAKEN OFF THE CARD! What the hell?!
Can somebody please tell me why the only real contender for the CCW Welsh Title has been removed? For anyone who wasn't there, or for those too stupid to remember what happened, Tommy Hayden and the brilliant Mr. Sweeney were 'fired' by Keith the Destroyer. First of all, Keith didn't have, or has ever had, the right to fire any of the wrestlers. He's just a wrestler himself, he's not working in CCW's super secret headquarters, he's not the chairman, hell, he's not even the commissioner, he's just a wrestler, he's on the same level as all the other guys who wrestle for CCW, including Tommy Hayden. Him firing Hayden would be like the girl at the check out in Asda firing the guy who collects the trolleys. So, we know that Tommy Hayden hasn't been fired, so that's the reason he won't be appearing at The Big One Chapter 3, but why isn't he appearing? I mean, they've kept Ace Jordan, the man who turned his back on the Golden Embassy, the only good thing he had going for him, all because he got upset when Mr. Hayden and Mr. Sweeney got mad that he was letting the team down. Well good riddance I say, he was dead weight, not much mind, but dead weight all the same. He was dragging the team down, and what do you do if a member of your team is dragging the rest of the team down? You cut him off, and that's exactly what Mr. Sweeney did, and that's exactly what I would have done. So, as I was saying, they kept Ace in, a man who turned his back on his friends, is that the lesson we want to teach the kids? That it's okay to turn on your friends for your own personal gain? And what about Keith the Destroyer? He's been kept on the card. Why him? Why was he kept on and not Hayden? I mean, sure Keith won the Super 8 cup, but can you really imagine him with the Welsh Title? I thought not. So overall, it is a disgusting travesty that Tommy Hayden has been removed from the show, and not just any show, but CCW's biggest show of the year, but not only that, he's been taken out of the running for a shot at the title! This is just disgusting. I was watching the television late at night not so long ago, and I saw something that looked familiar. It was a news report about some desert trek, and the footage showed a man, surrounded by people, being helped to the ground, his body weak from the walking and his fatigue drained by the heat. And I got a sudden feeling of deja vu. Not because I'd seen the footage before, but because it reminded me of something else I'd seen. That something was Keith the Destroyer, being helped out of the ring after his attack at the hands of Ashton Richards and Big 50 at CCW's Super 8 2014.
I commented to my broadcast colleague Chocolate Pain Nelson Rahi that Syd Phillips suffered a brutal beating at 2013's Super 8 show, one year earlier, and seeing Keith being beaten down this year brought back those happy memories. Syd Phillips, thankfully, hasn't been seen since, and, to my understanding, has quit wrestling altogether. Now, did Keith the Destroyer do the same? Did he follow in the footsteps of Syd Phillips and quietly bow out after winning such a big event? LIKE HELL HE DID! No, of course, Keith is still here GODDAMNIT! And not only that, but he's competing at CCW's biggest show of the year, The Big One Chapter 3, and not only that, but he will compete in a number one contender's match for a shot at CCW's brand new Welsh Championship. Not only has he got the Super 8 Cup, but he wants the Welsh Title belt too? Doesn't he think he's done enough in this company for now? Doesn't he think he should maybe let someone else take his place, someone who otherwise wouldn't get the chance to fight for that title? Oh no, not Keith, because it's all got to be about him. Well, when it finally comes to the 25th of August, we'll see just how destructive The Destroyer is. As I mentioned in that opening there, CCW has recently acquired it's first title belt, the CCW Welsh Championship. The champion will be decided at CCW's biggest show of the year, The Big One Chapter 3, in a Gauntlet match. The competitors of said match will be decided that night in a series of number one contender's matches that will include the best of the best of CCW's roster... and Keith Matthews. Potential competitors for the belt include Keith the Destroyer, Byson, Jack Union, and Disco Bert plus more. Also on the card will be CCW's first ever Women's Match. Jezabeth will take on The People's Princess Nadia Sapphire. It seems no one ever told Jezabeth to keep her words soft and sweet in case she has to eat them later, because she's been on Twitter calling Nadia out, telling her she's going down, taunting her over a recent injury, and using language that's not very lady like to say the least. Meanwhile, there doesn't seem to have been much coming from Nadia in regards to the match. Is she not responding to these onslaughts to show Jezabeth that she's not getting to her, or is she trying to hide the fact that she's scared? From what I've seen of Jezabeth's in-ring work, I'd be running for the hills if I were Nadia Sapphire! Aside from a possible women's division in CCW, one particular feud that has got my attention is the tag team rivalry between G-Force and newcomer Celtic Kid as they go toe to toe with the team of CCW's Chairman Mason Tombs and Mr. No Fear Ryan Lloyd. Last time we saw Mason and Lloyd as a tag team they were getting their individual asses kicked by Byson in what was essentially a handicap match. So what does that tell you about this team? Well despite their loss, I have to admit, they work well as a team. But what of G-Force and Celtic Kid? Well it's tough to say right now. During G-Force's comeback match teaming with Byson against Tombs and Lloyd, it was Byson who did all the work. G-Force has since become more assertive I'm glad to say, he knows what he wants, and he's going to do whatever he has to to get it. As for Celtic Kid, I've not seen much of him, but from what I have seen, he looks promising. He's a fast paced cruiserweight, but he's young and inexperienced. What this team needs is a manager, someone to guide them, help them out, get them a few wins, and while they're at it, get involved why not? Someone like yours truly. Hey, I'm just throwing it out there guys, just remember, I'm here if you need me. |
