CCW's Super 8 2015 show was held just a few days ago, and for yours truly, it was a complete travesty. Don't get me wrong though, there were a few good moments in the show. First of all, my monster Byson beat the debuting Unit, meanwhile my man G-Force beat the debuting Seth Skyline. I for one find it insulting that my men have to fight these new guys. Now don't get me wrong, I'll admit they did put up a fight, but do CCW's booking team think that Byson and G-Force are an easy challenge for new guys to ease themselves into the company against?! Well we proved them wrong, and Seth learnt what happens when you lay your hands on the Smartest Man in Wrestling TodayTM.
G-Force would go on to beat Mason Tombs with a little help from The Legion members Ulcio and Nemesis, after Ulcio lost to Tombs via disqualification. However, G-Force himself fell victim to AJ Hughes in the finals, but I'm not going to go into that, it still hurts, you can read all about that in Nelson Rahi's blog.
Meanwhile, Celtic Kid, the man I took under my wing and taught him what he knows today, has turned against me. Yes dear readers, it is hard on ol' Dick Chambers, but trust me ladies and gentlemen, it's his loss, not mine. Since dropping me as his manager, he has lost his mask in a match, and at Super 8, lost to Ry Lloyd. If you were smarter Kid, you'd still be by my side.
Elsewhere on the show, we saw Rhys Reflex make his debut against Keith Matthews. Rhys beat Keith from pillar to post, yet Keith somehow managed to cheat his way to victory, as he always does, however he lost to AJ Hughes, his former rival turned ally, in the semi-finals. And the Legion, Ulcio and Nemesis whom I mentioned earlier, also made their debuts. They'd sent a message to Mason Tombs via video saying “Expect us”. Mason didn't make any comment regarding the video, but he felt their wrath at Super 8. Since then, The Legion have posted this on Twitter - “Mason Tombs & @ConwyWrestling have now seen what we are capable of! Do not think this is over, Super8 was just the beginning! - Ulcio” Well well well, it looks like things are starting to turn sour for our chairman.
In closing I'll say congratulations AJ Hughes, you've finally won Super 8 after years of trying, but enjoy it while you can, because no one messes with my plans and gets away with it.
